Hi, my name is LucÃa MartÃnez and I recently joined South Dublin Podiatry. Iâm originally from Madrid, Spain, and I love staying active through hiking, playing football, climbing at the indoor wall, and enjoying a good game of padel. My favourite food is traditional Spanish cuisine â especially tortilla de patata with onions! For holidays, I love sunny destinations, and my top choice is always Tenerife in the Canary Islands. I listen to all kinds of music, but Iâm particularly drawn to Spanish artists like Estopa and Melendi. One of my favourite quotes is by the poet Antonio Machado: âToday is always still,â which reminds me to live in the moment and make the most of now. Right now, I am finalising my doctoral degree in gait analysis while combining it with my clinical work. My professional focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of foot pathologies, with special attention to biomechanics, orthotic therapy, and pain diagnosis and management. I have experience in conservative treatments, ultrasound, minor surgical procedures, and sports podiatry. Iâm passionate about helping my patients improve their quality of life â from prevention to recovery â by combining a warm, personal approach with the latest techniques in podiatry. I look forward to welcoming you to South Dublin Podiatry and taking care of your foot health with dedication and care.
