We operate by appointment only to ensure every patient receives the time and attention they deserve. While we don’t offer a walk-in service, we do our best to accommodate appointment requests promptly. Booking in advance allows us to prepare for your visit and provide the highest standard of care.
While we may occasionally have last-minute availability due to cancellations, we generally recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time. However, if you need an urgent appointment, feel free to get in touch — we’ll always do our best to accommodate you where possible.
We are a private clinic and do not require a referral letter. You can book an appointment directly with us.
Yes, depending on what is covered in your policy, all the details you need to submit a claim are on the invoice you receive after payment.
At South Dublin Podiatry, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations. Due to high demand and a long waiting list, late cancellations or missed appointments prevent others from accessing the care they need. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as no-shows, will be charged the full appointment fee.
Yes, there is free on street parking.
We do not take medical cards
We do not take HSE chiropody cards
We do not open on Saturdays. Our opening hours are Mon-Fri 8am-6pm. Please note, the clinic is closed for lunch 1pm – 2pm daily. While our first appointment in the morning is 8am, our latest appointment is either 4.30pm or 5pm, depending on the type of appointment required.
A podiatrist is an all encompassing foot, ankle and lower limb specialist with a college degree. A chiropodist’s primary focus is on routine skin and nail care. All of our staff qualified with a podiatry degree.
Yes, we are on the ground level. Please note, the patient must be able to transfer out of the wheelchair for treatment as we do not have the facilities to treat in the wheelchair.
For chiropody appointments, all you need to bring is yourself and a list of any medications you are currently taking.
For biomechanical examinations, please bring the footwear you wear most frequently. We also recommend wearing or bringing comfortable clothing, such as shorts and a t-shirt or flexible joggers.
