Podiatrist

Hi! I’m Ines, and I’m from a small city in northwestern Spain called A Coruña.

I’m a dual-qualified Podiatrist and Physiotherapist, having studied Podiatry at the University of A Coruña and Physiotherapy at Rovira i Virgili University in Barcelona.

What are your hobbies?
I’ve always had a strong interest in sports, and I’ve always been particularly passionate about weightlifting and bodybuilding. I competed in this discipline for several years, taking part in international competitions and representing the Spanish national team.

Lately, I’ve really been enjoying hybrid training.

I also love Pilates and I’m a qualified Pilates instructor. I’d say I enjoy feeling strong, but also being flexible and able to move freely and comfortably.

Outside of training, I love reading books and travelling.

What is your favourite food?
I don’t have a particular favourite food, but if I had to choose, I’d say anything breakfast-related! I really enjoy a good coffee, avocado and egg on toast, or some pancakes.

Where would you like to go on holiday?
I’d love to go on safari, ideally to Kenya.

Favourite song?
“Viva la Vida” — Coldplay

Do you have a favourite quote?
“Change happens through movement and movement heals.” — Joseph Pilates
